SHAZAM

 

Whenever we say about the comics it's only 2 comics that strikes to our mind i.e DC (Detective Comics) and Marvel Comics. Although there are so many comics are in this world but these 2 are the most popular comics come to our mind. 

Coming to the story the movie is all about the origin of the superhero SHAZAM. The superhero SHAZAM was first appeared in 1939 by the Whiz Comics. It has the same powers of the so called super hero Superman. So the DC comics then acquired the rights of the super hero. Basically this super hero gets the power of a super human, gets super human speed, intelligence, courage, flight and many more. To get such super human powers the boy has to say a word i.e SHAZAM.

Introduction

This movie is released on 2019. A science fiction movie by the DC Comics. Starring Zachary Levi as Shazam, Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Djimon Hounsou as the wizard, Mark Strong as Dr Sivana etc. They played the major roles in this movie.

Explanation

Let's come to the  of the movie explanation. On the starting of the movie we see a boy named Billy Batson who is searching so many people's house for a woman called Marilyn Batson. But everytime he investigates he found the wrong match. In the mean time a cop is found him and took him to his principal. As he's an orphan boy in the Philadelphia city. Where he adopted by many foster families. But everytime Billy adopted ,he couldn't adjust with his foster family. It was 5th time he escaped from his foster family. The principal said him to stay with a new foster family as it's his last choise. He's adopted by Rosa as his mother and Victor as his father. 

At the time he reached his house he found that Rosa and Victor adopted another 5 children's in which Darla as the little sister, Eugene as little brother, Mary as Older sister, Pedro as brother and finally he meets his brother Freddy. He jokes on him and saying him that most people sympathy on him for his handicapped leg. Here Eugene is the tech expert and always busy in video gaming, Darla is the hugger buddy, Pedro is fat so he tries dumbles for his body fitness, Mary is trying to get admission in the University.

Next day they went to Fawcett City High school and 2 boys bullying Freddy so Billy couldn't resist it and fights against him. But when they overpowered Billy, he ran and entered in a subway. This is the moment when his fate was changed. After sometime he noticed that the train glass are getting freezed and some symbols are repeatedly showing on it. At last the train stopped on a abandoned cave place known as The Rock of Eternity and Billy visited on it. Here we see a broken glass which is the Easter egg of Mr Mind the notorious villain of Shazam. As he escaped from the prison.

When Billy reached at the throne the wizard found him and put magic on him to see about his nature and past. The wizard wanted to pass on his magic to a person who is pure in heart and strong. As Dr Sivana reached their and fought with the Wizard. And released the evil eye and the 7 sins of the world named as Lust,Wrath, Envy,Greed,Pride,Sloth and Gluttony. He also became powerful and invulnerable to humanly forces. The Wizard found unworthy to Billy but , Billy said him that the person he's searching for is nowhere in this world as the world has changed.

So the Wizard see again and found Billy worthy by seeing his love towards his family. So he said Billy to lays his hands on his stuff and say the magic word Shazam. By saying his name Billy is transformed to his full potential. And carried the powers of

The Wizard is also gave the reference of Black Adam who is the first champion choosed by the council of Wizards. And released all the 7 deadly sins to the mortal world. Coming to the powers these are the Greek gods that share their powers to a person who summoned this magic word to serve the world. At this time he feared seeing his changed physique and deep voice. So he wanted to go back to the subway and suddenly he reached at the subway also. This shows his teleportation power in the movie. After that he go back to his house and confronts to Freddy about how he got powers. Freddy also tests his flying power, his lightning power that coming out of his fingers, his speed and strengths also. There they saved a women from a mugger and the lady gave him 70 dollar. They go to the shop and buy liquor but they couldn't drink that. So they again go to buy some chips. At the same time some rubbers threatened the owner but Shazam said him to leave. But they fired on him. On the next moment we see that the bullet got broken and we first time know that Shazam is bullet proof. And he then fights the thives and bounded them with the Christmas light. And returned to their house. And he explained everything to his sister Darla about how he got powers. At the time he said the word SHAZAM he returned to his original body. 

As time goes Freddy tests so many things on Shazam and uploaded on YouTube. Some called him Zapten America, Red Trunado, sparkling finger. They realised that he's basically invulnerable to humanly forces. But suddenly when Shazam showing off his powers a lightening striked the bus. And he cought the whole bus and knew that he's super strong. This cought the vision of Dr Sivana to Shazam. He forced him to give up his powers to him. But Shazam didn't hand over him. So Dr Sivana took him on sky and throws him down. At the last time he believes on him and discovered that he can fly. They fight and reached on a mall. At this time there was a reference to Batman. 

Here Billy said the word and transformed to his original body. Then he go to home and found that Eugene finished his search of his parents and gave him the address of his mom. When Billy reached his mom's house his mom didn't recognised him . So he showed the direction pointer that his mom won on the festival. But seeing the current scenario Billy realised that his real family is his foster family. When he reached his house he know that Dr Sivana reached there and forced him to hand over his powers. So he opened a gate to the Rock of Eternity and a fighting scene we see. We see so many doors there where each door opens a new dimension. So he tries his teleportation power and reached in a pub. Following him Dr Sivana is also reached there. But the mean time Shazam transformed into his original body. 

Here we see a fighting scene where Dr Sivana releases all of his 7 sins . So Shazam was helpless and forced to give his powers to Dr Sivana. At this time Shazam remembered the last lines of the Wizard to sharing his powers to his brothers and sisters. So he tricked Dr Sivana and gave his powers to his brothers and sisters. Here all the 7 deadly sins are captured by all the 6 super heros. And Shazam removed the evil eye from the eyes of Dr Sivana. And then all reached at the Rock of Eternity. And prisoned all the 7 deadly sins. 

At the post credit scenes we see that Billy is well with his foster family. We see Freddy tests on Shazam on hearing the voices and ordering the aquatic animals i.e the power of Aquaman. And we see Dr Sivana in prison writing magical words of the wall and we see Mr Mind offering him a deal to acquire more powers. 

There was also a deleted scene where the Black Adam is released from his prison. At the same time some people having some problems with their boss are met with Black Adam. So he thought that the world is still unchanged and people undergoes the same slavery. So in order to make them free Black Adam killed their boss. And it goes the a sensation and a breaking news. This news was watched by Billy and his brothers and sisters. So in order to stop him they say the word SHAZAM and say their parents that they are going to save the world.
